Go is a new OTT (over-the top) online streaming service dedicated to women’s sport available on desktop and mobile app. Go is passionate about empowering women in sport which is fast becoming a mainstream pastime - and Go's mission is to help it on its way.

Brief

Go needed a new brand that reimagined the key elements of their visual identity and the UI of their mobile app. The new brand needed to be bold and vibrant and reflect the high intensity and attitude of the athletes, and ultimately connect with their key audience, 16–30-year-olds.

Process

After undertaking a competitor analysis of other streaming platforms, it was clear that most platforms focus on streaming in their visual identity such as play icons and pluses rather than the content they provide. I decided to create a brand for Go that focused on the energy and intensity of the athletes that would help them stand out in the marketplace as well as appeal to Go’s target demographic. The vibrant colour palette to the energetic logo and typography appeals to Go’s core demographic.
